- Bio
- Originally from Lafayette, LA, I am a rising senior at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. I am a Neuroscience major and I hope to pursue a career as a physician. The brain and why we do what we do has always fascinated me and led me to my previous research lab specializing in behavioral neuroscience. Our research focused on binge-eating disorder and the effects of stress. Through this opportunity I became interested in Dr. Bridges' molecular metabolism research lab. This experience has allowed me to learn many new techniques in cells, tissues and mice. Furthermore, I have been able to better appreciate the complexities of molecular metabolism pathways and investigation. I have learned a lot already in my short time here and look forward to expanding my knowledge even more.
