Measuring Autophagy in Tissue Culture Cells

To prevent turnover of autolysosomes, the terminal step of autolysosomal degradation can be blocked with Bafilomycin A1 treatment. Typically this is done for 1-2h by adding it at 100 nM just prior to induction of autophagy. This is a 1000X dilution of our 100 uM stock solution in DMSO.
